POST-ACCEPTANCE STEPS

STEP 1: GETTING STARTED – LOGISTICS

Welcome aboard. This is your entry point into the system that will help you develop the skills and training you need to advance both faster and higher on your career path. Your path to success will take desire, determination, a willingness to learn, and action on your part. Be sure to make this commitment to yourself as well as to us. The Time to Act is Now! Let’s Go! Please complete and submit all necessary fields in the form before moving on to Step 2.

STEP 2: TRAINING AGREEMENT

Download and complete the trainee agreement that most closely matches your field of study or interest.
Email it to:  internships.PlannedActs@gmail.com.
For the agreement dates, you can put one year from your sign-up date (now) to the end date (i.e., From: May 15, 2020. To: June 14, 2021).
This will cover the period before your start your main program as well as any extension you might wish to do.

STEP 3: WELCOME MANUAL

Read the Welcome Manual carefully, and depending on your major, follow any additional steps you need to take when getting started.

STEP 4: SHARED WORK FOLDER

You’ll need to set up and name your Shared Work Folder in our Google Drive.
(1) Log-in to our gmail account:
Username: internships.PlannedActs@gmail.com
Password: 1PAK2035!

(2) Go into the INDIVIDUAL WORK FOLDER
Create a new folder using your FULL NAME in ALL CAPS.

All the work that you do needs to be stored inside your Google Drive folder. Always.
We will be accessing you folder regularly and you will hold other people back if we cannot have immediate access to files.

STEP 5: PROCEDURES GUIDE

Use the link to access the Procedures Guide. Please read it thoroughly and refer to it frequently. It will help form the foundation for your success in our program and in your career.

STEP 6: CUSTOM INTERNSHIP APPOINTMENT

Your preliminary work is completed and you’re ready to begin.
Set-up an appointment to speak with
Lyle Benjamin, Founder/Executive Director of Planned Acts of Kindness,
about the specifics of your custom internship/mentorship program.

Email your Name, School, Major, Area of Interest, Phone & Email Address & Start Date to:
